Health Access Grants

What is a ‘Health Access’ Grant?  To find out, click here.

Eligibility

  • Application must have a 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status.
  • Applicant’s service area must be one or more of the following counties: Bastrop,Caldwell, Hays, Travis, Williamson. Currently priority will be given to programs in Hays, Travis and Williamson counties.

Length of Grant Cycle
Grant awards are made for a twelve-month period. Partner agencies that meet the requirements of their current grant contract and demonstrate successful outcomes will be eligible to apply for new funding the following year.

All agencies requesting funding for the first time are required to contact the appropriate program officer based on the focus of the particular project or program. Please bring overview of organization and project in the format of a one page summary:

Proposal
Proposals for the Health Access grants are accepted by invitation only and should not be submitted unless requested by a Foundation staff member. St. David’s Foundation will provide organizations that are invited to submit a proposal with additional instructions for using the online application system for proposals.

Attachments
A number of supporting documents are required to complete your application. When possible, please attach the required documents using the upload option on the online application or send via email. Any documents that cannot be submitted electronically can be mailed to:

Any information sent via US postal mail must be postmarked by the grant deadline date. Incomplete applications will not be considered for funding.

2. System Requirements
To use St. David’s Foundation’s online application system, applicants must have one of the following browsers, with cookies enabled:
